Cherries for this lot came from about 700 small farm holders in the village of Aricha, southwestern Ethiopia. The cherries are processed at the Yonis Adorsi Family Washing Station at the bottom end of the village. The adjacent Aricha river supplies the settlement with fresh water. The beans fermented for 36 to 49 hours and then they were sun-dried and sorted on African beds. As a result we can all enjoy juicy but clean coffee with tones of black tea, papaya and hints of jasmine and bergamot.
