Amid the lush landscape of northern Peru, near the Ecuadorian border, lies the Santa Teresa farm. Acquired in 2010 by visionary Andres Torres, this retreat was initially a remote paradise without roads or electricity. With unwavering determination, however, Andres and his children turned adversity into opportunity. They paved the way to their oasis, bringing water and light to their corner of the world. The sprawling estate covers approximately 11.5 hectares and is elegantly nestled at an average altitude of 1,900 meters above sea level. A true master in the art of growing geisha, Andres inherited his passion from his parents and grandparents. Each year, he pushed the boundaries and experimented with fermentation methods to elevate his family’s legacy. And it paid off – in 2021, he secured a remarkable fifth place at the prestigious Cup of Excellence competition.
