Difluid Microbalance Ti DFT-S102 is a professional digital scale designed primarily for precise weighing during coffee preparation, both at home and in professional cafes. It belongs to the DiFluid ecosystem of smart barista tools and is designed to provide maximum control over the extraction process. Thanks to the combination of high accuracy, advanced electronics and connection to a mobile application, it allows detailed monitoring of coffee preparation parameters and their subsequent analysis.
The device is based on a highly sensitive pressure sensor that can measure weight with a resolution of up to 0.1 g in the range of up to 1000 g and 1 g at a load of up to a maximum capacity of 3000 g. The minimum detectable weight is approximately 0.2 g, which allows for very precise dosing of coffee beans even with experimental recipes. The quick response of the scale, including the tare function with a response of approximately 200 ms, allows for smooth work during extraction without unnecessary delays.
The Microbalance Ti model features an integrated timer that can be triggered automatically when a change in flow rate is detected during water pouring. The display simultaneously shows key data – current weight, extraction time and flow rate expressed in grams per second. This data provides instant feedback when preparing filter coffee or espresso and helps maintain a stable extraction curve.
The functional equipment also includes a wireless connection to the DiFluid Café mobile application, which allows you to record the preparation process, save recipes and analyze the extraction process in graphs. The user can thus monitor the parameters of individual drinks, compare results and gradually optimize the preparation process. In addition, the device software can be updated wirelessly via OTA updates, which allows for continuous improvement of functions and measurement algorithms.
The scale's design is compact and adapted to operation in a barista environment. The body, measuring approximately 135 × 135 × 26.5 mm, is complemented by a heat-resistant silicone pad that protects the device from high temperature and humidity when working with hot water. The scale is also equipped with a vibration filtration system and air flow resistance, which ensures stable measurements even in busy café operations.
Power is provided by an integrated lithium-ion battery with a capacity of approximately 2500 mAh, which allows for more than 25 hours of operation on a single charge. Charging is via the USB-C interface and a full charge takes approximately 2.3 hours. In addition to the scale itself, the package also includes a silicone heat pad and a USB-C charging cable.
